Woodley Out 8-12 Weeks

Well so much for the possibility of Tyron Woodley fighting at UFC 230. UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will be side lined for 8-12 weeks, due to a thumb injury he suffered in the Darren Till fight at UFC 228. Woodley successfully defended his title for the third time when he took on Darren Till at UFC 228, he is scheduled to have surgery on his thumb around mid October.

”They are doing a shoestring surgery to provide more stability for my hand and minimize the potential arthritis,” Woodley said about his injury.
