Turning down replacement fights will cost Vitor Belfort his fight purse

Vitor Belfort had a fight scheduled with Uriah Hall at UFC St. Louis. Hall was forced off the card after having a seizure, due to a bad weight cut. Vitor went to social media to make a case for why he should still get his fight purse, sounds like Dana White isn’t interested in that though.

“This thing went down, we worked quickly and we got Vitor a fight,” White said. “He could have fought tonight, he chose not to. We got him a fight in Boston. He chose not to fight in Boston. He chose not to fight then. I don’t know who the opponents were, but they told him we got him two fights.”

Apparently Vitor wants to fight Michael Bisping in London, on March 17th. Bisping told Ariel Helwani he is not interested in that fight. Both guys are looking to have one more fight before calling it a career, we’ll have to wait and see who they get matched up with.
